Hello 2010: til the roof comes off

As some of you may know, our roof blew off late last year. So as long as the roof doesn't blow off, it's going to be a better year than last. For your viewing pleasure, a few shots of our impromptu skylight:

 

Moving swiftly along, it's 2010 - finally! Garp was among some of the first few back at work, and was kind enough to pose on his couch in Al's office.

Yes, we kinda feel like that too after all this holiday business. Well back to work. Hope 2010 works out for you too.

Garp Dawg turns 1 today!

Happy Birthday ya big ol' hound dog! King James' favourite puppeh Garp turns 1 today, so be sure to give him some extra pats when you walk past Al's office. There will be bones in the library at lunchtime.

A few snaps of Garp Dog, who now comes to just under Alistair's nipples at full height. Garp can be found wandering around the agency with a selection of semi-chewed objects he's picked up from rubbish bins, presumably keeping them in his jowls as snacks for later.

Operations Director Emma brought baby Lula in for a casting the other day. She did her mum proud by smiling all the way through the photos. Bless!

Agency Baby: meet Jackpot

While Al's puppy Garp is a regular site gallumphing around King James, Jackpot only comes in on very special occasions because he is a very special cat. Jenny's Russian Blue kitten is gracing us with his very dignified presence today. Go give him a stroke - if he'll let you - in Jenny's office. He's in his usual spot under the cupboard.

He's this big, which is just higher than adult hip-height. And still lots more to grow (and love).

Day Starts: Lie on floor for a few hours. Hard work.

Mid-morning:
Lie on leather couch for a bit. Get presented with brand new chew toy. Get instructions on how to chew it from Alistair. Life's hard.

Next, spend a few minutes giving bone a good chew. Takes a lot of out one.

Get bored of bone. Amble across room and dump bone in Alistair's rubbish bin. Stupid bone. Garsh.

Get back on couch. Chew couch for a bit. Real leather makes the best chew toys. Getting the gums ready for puppy school later.
