Fabio here was captured extensively on our surveillance tapes, because between 5 and 6 pm on Wednesday 6 January, he strolled into our offices, picked up Karin's laptop and walked out the building with it. He entered and exited through the first floor parking at Wembley Square, where most of our staff park, and was brazen enough not to bother covering his face. When we reported the robbery, the guards recognised him as a serial thief, who operates at quite a few Faircape sites across Cape Town, so we suppose he is some sort of contractor or construction worker.
